A considered wardrobe

Oxford and Hill began with a simple observation: the clothes we wear most are the ones we think about least. An everyday coat is worn hundreds of times over years — yet it's usually chosen quickly, and cheaply.

We wanted to change that.

What we sell

We look for pieces built the way clothes used to be: fabric chosen for weight and handle, seams that hold their shape, and cuts that sit properly on the body. Where a detail exists, it earns its place.

Nothing is decorative for its own sake. The proportions are deliberate, the finishing is clean, and each piece is made to move from the week into the weekend without changing register.

How we choose

We keep the range small. A piece only joins the collection once we're satisfied it will still be worn in five years — and still look like something you'd want to put on.

For the everyday

The everyday deserves better than it usually gets. Our collection is built around that idea — considered essentials for women and men, for the ordinary days that make up most of a life.
